Support for people affected by New Year’s Eve Manchester attack

Resilience Hub

Support is available for people affected by the New Year’s Eve stabbings at Manchester Victoria Station.

If you witnessed or have been affected by the 31 December incident, you can contact Victim Support on 0808 168 9111. All calls to this number are free.

Anyone who was directly involved in, witnessed or has been impacted by the 31 December attack can also contact the NHS Manchester Resilience Hub from 10.00am on Wednesday 2 January 2019.

The resilience hub was originally established in response to the Manchester Arena Attack to coordinate care and support for thousands of children, young people and adults whose mental health and/or emotional wellbeing was affected. The New Year’s Eve incident may have triggered difficult feelings for those involved in Arena Attack.

The hub provides a central point for mental health advice and support. Where one-to-one therapy is needed, clinicians in the hub work with other organisations across the country to help people receive the care they need from services close to where they live.

It is open Tuesday 10am-6pm, Wednesday 10am-8pm, Thursday 10am-6pm and Friday 10am-6pm.
